The Drop It Project is a local environmental project made to address the issue of plastic waste generation and mis-recycling, as well as to improve the country's plastic waste management systems. The project's objective is to educate people about the types of plastics that are recyclable, and to provide sites throughout certain areas of Singapore for them to properly sort and drop-off their plastics in exchange for rewards. It will include the research on Singapore's current mis-recycling issue and develop a solution to tackle such issue, as well as a program to encourage the public to be more involved in Singapore's recycling scene.
